Missing Mother of Two......Spread the word!

I had planned another post for today but I felt the recent events in my home town took major precedent over the weekend wrap up.  I am from a small town in central Ohio.  The motto of our small town is "Someplace Special".  It is the type of town where everyone knows everyone and your children can ride their bikes around town without a worry.  So when I saw the first post about this on Facebook I was speechless.  I never expected to know who the individuals in a missing person case are and this really hits too close to home for me so I feel it is my duty as an Ashland native, a mother, and a blogger to spread the word as far as I can and I hope my readers will do the same!

Lynn Jackenheimer is missing and foul play is suspected.  Her ex-boyfriend Nate Summerfield is still at large and is the only person who truly knows the whereabouts of Lynn. Below is an excerpt from this news article on wavy.com

"Deputies in Dare County are looking for an Ohio woman who hasn’t been seen since vacationing in the Outer Banks last week."

"Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard with the Dare County Sheriff’s Office told WAVY.com deputies in Dare County as well as troopers with the North Carolina Highway Patrol were searching for Lynn Jackenheimer, 33. Investigators in Ashland, OH contacted deputies in reference to a missing person who was reportedly last seen in the Salvo area of Hatteras Island on July 4."

"Sunday, Summerfield reportedly dropped the 3-year-old son he shares with Jackenheimer off with this brother at the parents' home. It is unsure where the the 13-year-old daughter was dropped off. Jackenheimer was nowhere to be seen. Summerfield is now also missing, Hoggard said. Schorr added they were last seen in a 2009 silver Honda Civic with a license plate of FMV7540."

Below is a picture of Lynn Jackenheimer from her Facebook page.
